Our VisionWe envision Somerville as a city in which each citizen values its history and heritage and is committed to preserving its historic legacy for future generations. We envision a City where new development does not always mean loss of the old, but instead complements and reinforces thriving historic neighborhoods, contributing to the health and economic prosperity of all.
